Our transitional housing facility has helped hundreds of men in Grand Rapids get back on their feet. But don’t take it from us — hear it from the men who have transformed their lives!
Exodus Place Presents: The Jason Project

In this exclusive docu-series, follow Jason’s journey through our hand up program, where he found support and learned the importance of putting others first, eventually graduating from our facility and moving into his own apartment in Grand Rapids!

Antonio
Take a tour of Exodus Place, and you’ll likely find Antonio working out in our fitness area. Between shifts at his local place of employment, Antonio uses exercise to battle his addiction, for which he has entered recovery since arriving at Exodus Place and finding “a community of guys that have hope.”

Eric
After growing up in the foster care system and bouncing from home to home, Eric had trouble adjusting to adult life. After being evicted from his apartment, Eric found a stable home in Exodus Place. Most recently, Eric even landed a new job at a local fuel station!
Kenny
Out of all our members’ stories, Kenny’s is one of the most shocking. After years of heroin addiction, Kenny found himself in the hospital for MRSA and quarantined for six months. On his discharge date, he was offered a room at Exodus Place, where he could continue to work on his recovery. Taking interest in our training kitchen, Kenny had the opportunity for employment as a cook, and has since become an essential member of the kitchen staff.
