Mission statement
The Mission of Exodus Place is to Glorify God by meeting each man where they are. We provide a hand up rather than a handout by equipping these men with physical, emotional, mental and spiritual tools for successful reintegration into the community.
Vision statement
The Vision of Exodus Place to provide development and transitional housing for vulnerable men who are experiencing homelessness.
Values
We offer a hand up, not a hand out. We believe that just giving people the basic items needed for survival doesn't address the underlying social problems.
Community Commitment
At Exodus Place we are committed to introduce the resources in our community to our members. Directing them to what is available to them in the community so they can live more independently when they transition forward.
statement of faith
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The one living and true God is Creator of all things and is infinite in power, love, wisdom, and goodness.
3. We believe Jesus was fully human and fully divine. He was born of the Virgin Mary, died for our sins, resurrected from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of the Father. We believe He will return in power and glory.
4. We believe the Holy Spirit is God’s presence at work in the world, church, and individual. The Holy Spirit empowers, inspires, guides, and leads the believer into the truth and freedom of new life in Jesus Christ.
5. We believe that humanity was created in the image of God for the primary purpose of glorifying and enjoying Him forever. However, since the fall of Adam everyone is born into Adam’s sin.
6. We believe that God offers individual choice of saving Grace unto eternal life to everyone through Jesus Christ our Lord, uniting all believers.

Why Transitional housing?
Transitional housing is a stepping stone for people who are in between homelessness and permanent housing. Aligning with our philosophy of "offering a hand-up, not a handout," our members pay low monthly dues while we work to help them to transition back into a more stable life style and independency. Although the goal is to one day help our members receive permanent housing, we do not put an expiration on their stay - we realize the timeline for development and transition is different for everyone!
