I want to move INTO Exodus Place. How do I do that?
If you'd like to become a member, call our intake coordinator at (616)-242-9130 Ext. 43 to set up an appointment. We also take walk-ins on weekdays from 9AM to 3PM at our facility at 322 Front Ave SW, Grand Rapids.
How much does it cost to live here?
Membership dues (which include housing) are $500/month for a shared room and $655/month for a private room. Enrollment in our food program is required and costs $189/month, but can be paid through a bridge card. Dues also include access to all of our services, including:
- case management
- medical care and support
- spiritual advising
- clothing services
- education
- Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), MRT
- member activities
- points program
- barbershop
Can I use my bridge card?
Yes! Our case managers can help you apply for a bridge card and you can use it towards the food program.
Can I find work at Exodus Place?
We are proud to employ our members as part of our Workforce Development program. Participation in Workforce Development provides dues remission, meaning your program expenses can be covered through working here.* Additionally, our Case Management and Education services are designed to help you secure employment outside of our facility.
DOES EXODUS PLACE OFFER RECOVERY SUPPORT?
AA classes are held 2x a week in house by a trained sponsor along with access to a local Celebrate Recovery Program and the local Alano Club. Although, we provide transportation every Wednesday at 11am to Alono Club for Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings. Although we are not equipped for acute addiction services, we are glad to support our members in their long-term recovery goals.
Is Exodus Place a Christian organization?
Although participation in our faith programs is not required for membership, we are a Christ-focused mission and our chaplains are here to walk with our members who wish to enrich their relationship with God. our devotions are held at 1:30pm every day and we provide an in house church service every Sunday.
